These remarkable and rare geodes contain beautiful star shaped patterns of chalcedony with various colors of agate filling the middle. The name ‘Thunder Egg’ originates from a Native American legend about two angry gods who got into a violent fight on neighboring mountain tops in Oregon, where the Thunderbirds dwell. The gods used eggs taken from the nests of the Thunderbirds as weapons. After the fight, these “weapons” were found scattered on the ground. Ours are separated by bronze Freshwater Pearls and held together with an Art Nouveau Bronze Toggle. |
